The Science, Technology and Environment Section of the European Union Delegation to China and EURAXESS Links China, in partnership with the Innovation Centre of Denmark, will organise a workshop on IP in EU-China research cooperation focusing on the foundation upon which IP issues are dealt with during the research cooperation. The objective is to present European researchers with practical ways and recommendations to discuss IP issues and reach an agreement with a research partner in China.

The workshop is open to all European researchers and research institutions interested in the topic as well as to their Chinese research partners. It will be held in English. Participation is free of charge. To register contact, Mr Jacques DE SOYRES (EURAXESS Links China Information Officer) on +86 139 1127 4454 or email

Partnership in Action “The most effective solution to effective IPR protection is the legal enforcement that mutual cooperation between the EU and China can and should provide. We need a shared sense of the damage [done] not just to European companies but to any company, and any economy, including China’s.” Mr. Peter Mandelson, (former) EU Commissioner for Trade, 26 November 2007 Beijing |
