PARTNERS IPR2 is a partnership project between the European Union and the People's Republic of China. The Project works directly with: BENEFICIARY MINISTRIES & AGENCIES The Beneficiaries of IPR2 include the authorities represented in China’s National Working Group for Intellectual Property Rights Protection. This Working Group, led by Vice Premier Wu Yi, was set up in 2004 to further strengthen the leadership of IPR protection undertaking. The Working Group is constituted by seventeen members who are in charge of IPR-related agencies. The main task of the National Working Group is to lead the national IPR protection work as a whole, promoting the construction of IPR laws and regulations, setting up the trans-departmental coordination mechanism of IPR law enforcement, while dealing with the linkage of administrative law enforcement and criminal justice, and improving the IPR awareness of the general public. More… In addition to the Working Group representatives, other central authorities/agencies are also involved in IPR2. Note: Presented in alphabetical order.
