19 July 2010, Beijing IPR2 participated in Tsinghua University's Summer Programme on Intellectual Property, held at Tsinghua University Law School as part of a Joint programme with Franklin Pierce and the University of Milan, addressed The students, who come from China, Europe and the United States, heard from Mr Benoit Misonne, IPR2 Project Advisor, on his experience of working in China on intellectual property issues and the role and scope of EU-China co-operation on protecting and enforcing IP rights.
Tsinghua-Franklin Pierce Summer Program in Chinese IP Law was formally approved by American Bar Association and organized jointly by School of Law, Tsinghua University, China and Franklin Pierce Law Center, USA in 2002.The program lasts for five weeks from the middle of June to the end of July each year in Beijing and Xian. Four courses relating the Chinese IP laws and regulations is given and six credits for the students enrolled in any American law School can be recognized by all American law schools. It is only program in Chinese IP law in China and continues for five years. Read more.
